In-form forward Majeed Waris has been handed a starting role for Ghana in the Group H qualifying match to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations against Mozambique Thursday afternoon.
Waris who largely benefits from the hamstring injury to captain Asamoah Gyan partners Jordan Ayew upfront in the squad just announced by coach Avram Grant.
Also starting for the Black Stars is Anderlecht left winger, Frank Acheampong.
Ghana, leaders of the group are pushing for a third-straight win in the qualifiers.
The match kicks off at 15:30 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
