PHOTOS: Kotoko continue fine run with 2-0 win over Bechem

Asante Kotoko continued their fine run in the preseason with a 2-0 win over Bechem United at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors, who have been touted as preseason champions, displayed a spectacular performance to edge past their league rivals.

New teenage signing Akwasi Nti opened the scoring as early as the 6th minute with his second touch of the ball after being fed with a beautiful pass from Elvis Amoh.

Sensational forward Dauda Mohammed who started the game from the bench sealed the game with a 44th minute penalty after replacing injured Azeko Mandela.

After the game, Kotoko were presented a trophy and GHS 3,000 cash donated by the Chief of Domeabra who has proposed to make the game a yearly affair between both sides to commemorate the Akwasidae.

Kotoko will continue their pre-season preparations with an international friendly against Nigerian club FC Ifeanyi Ubah at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday evening. Kickoff is at 5pm.
