Boateng returns to Milan in six-month deal

Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has re-joined former club AC Milan on a free transfer.

The midfielder’s return to his old club on a short term deal was confirmed by the club on Tuesday after a four-month training with Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side.

The Black Stars player moved to Schalke 04 from AC Milan in August 2013 but was suspended indefinitely by the Bundesliga outfit for the reason of “lack of mutual trust” in May.

The former Spurs and Portsmouth player will now play at the San Siro, where he won the League title and Supercoppa between 2010 and 2013 during his first stint for the next six months.

“AC Milan announce the signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng, who has signed a contract until 30 June 2016,” read a statement on Milan’s official website.

The 28-year-old scored 10 goals in 74 league appearances in his fist spell for Rossonerri who currently sit sixth on the Serie A table.
