ANOTER MOVE: Inkoom switches to Turkey’s Antalyaspor

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has completed a shock move to Turkish top tier side Antalyaspor.

The 26-year-old right back completed his medicals on Wednesday before sealing a two-and-half-year deal that will keep him at the club until summer 2018.

The ex-FC Basel and Asante Kotoko right-back only joined Portuguese side Boavista last summer where he made just 8 appearances.

He thus becomes the club’s second winter signing for new manager Jose Morais and his addition is expected to help the former Chelsea assistant’s side move up the Turkish Super Lig ladder. Atalyaspor currently lie 11th on the log.

The 2009 U-20 World Cup winner recently had unsuccessful spells in the United States. Prior to that, he had also spent a half-season spell on loan at Bastia from Dnipro in Ukraine.
