Ghana international, Jeffrey Schlupp has sustained a hamstring injury and is set to miss action for two months.
The Leicester City wing-back could be on the side-lines for at least eight weeks to nurse a hamstring problem which he picked up in the Foxes’ last training session to the 2-1 win over Chelsea on Monday.
The 22-year-old will have no part to play in Leicester’s Premier League campaign for the rest of 2015 and the whole of January 2016.
“Also Jeffrey Schlupp has a little problem with his hamstring but I don’t know how long that will take,” Ranieri told Leicester City’s official website.
Ranieri further told reporters of Schlupp’s absence is due to an injury in the pre-match conference for Saturday’s clash at Everton.
“Schlupp is a little more serious,” Ranieri addressed reporters. “Drinky is okay. It’s a little problem. Against Liverpool he is ready.”
Schlupp, with a goal this season, last played for Leicester in the 3-0 win at Swansea with Leicester at the summit of the EPL table with 35 points.
