Asante Kotoko have swiftly moved to snap up defender Edwin Nana Tuffour Frimpong from Liberty Professionals
The son of club icon and former coach Frimpong Manso has in recent times been heavily linked with a move to rivals Hearts of Oak.

But the porcupine warriors, have gazumped the Phobians by sealing a three-year agreement with the centre-back who turns 24 on November 13.
Tuffour Frimpong has been one of the consistent players in the Ghana Premier League over the past four seasons. He joined Liberty at the beginning of the 2011/12 season from lower tier side Asokwa Deportivo.
Tuffour’s deal with Asante Kotoko will span through to the end of the 2017/18 season.
