Ainooson in Sudan for Al Hilal medical

Asante Kotoko defender Samuel Abeiku Ainooson has arrived in Sudan ahead of a scheduled medical with giants Al Hilal.

Footy-Ghana can reveal that the centre-back has in recent days been chased by a number of clubs abroad including Moroccan duo Hassania Agadir and Difaâ El Jadida but the Sudanese side appear to be winning the race.

The management of the porcupine warriors has agreed in principle to sell the former Ghana league best defender to the Sudani Premier League giants subject to his passing a medical.

It is understood that Ainooson who touched down Sudan on Saturday will undergo tests at the Imperial Hospital located on the Al-Sharif Al-Hindi Street in the heart of capital, Khartoum on Sunday morning.

Footy-Ghana.com can confirm that Hilal also have Inter Allies and 2014/15 Ghana Premier League best defender Baba Mensah on their target list. The club, we understand, engaged officials of the Eleven Is To One with an offer before contacting Kotoko over the availability of Ainooson.
